In Daughter of Smoke and Bone Laini Taylor reinvents the classic angels vs demons conflict. I don’t typically read YA but I’m glad I did on this occasion! Whilst they are marketed at a young adult audience, I didn’t overly perceive them that way. If you are a huge fantasy fan, please, please read at least one of her books. She really has a way with words, beautiful descriptions and great characters/storylines. I LOVED THIS BOOK! I was already a huge fan of Laini Taylor’s based on her Strange the Dreamer duology. If I haven’t already made it clear from the intro, let me say this one thing first.
